HTC-3 Temperature sensor is a simple, direct design, yet durable temperature sensor. Thermocouples come with different pairings of materials allowing for a very wide range of applications. The different compositions are standardized into thermocouple types. The different types are given letter names, which are standardized across the industry. Most suitable for measuring over a wide temperature range of up to 1200°C depending the selection of types (K, J, T, N or R/SN).
PTC-3 Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD) are made of materials whose resistance depends on temperature. Platinum wired sensors have a highly linear characteristic, which makes them fit in the temperature range -220°C to 850°C.
With a wide variety of construction features and material constructions, they are individually optimised to fully fit for most industrial applications.
